From what I can remember, he's been doing the moving business almost all his life. If you have any questions, just call the office, and im positive they got an answer for any questions you may have. They moved my wife and I from Evanston to the River North neighborhood yesterday and did it carefully and quickly. They were super friendly and did everything I asked. We moved into a high-rise and only had the elevator rented out for an hour and a half. Despite the short time frame and the terrible parking and loading zone in front of the building, they managed to get us in on time with not a scratch on our stuff. They went way beyond what any movers had provided for me before. They not only placed all our boxes and furniture in the assigned rooms, but also helped us set up our multiple piece entertainment center. The crew was on time, courteous and worked well as a team. We were done on time and with no problems. In fact, this last time, we had furniture being delivered while Windy City was still moving us in. The furniture guys refused to bring in the big sofa we ordered. Windy City jumped right in to help and had a plan to get the sofa in. They got it done with no problems though a lot of physical energy on their part. Thank you, you saved the day

I went with Pack-rats ,storage container and hired Windy City to move my boxes, bins, clothes etc! Totally professional, perfect packing as it wasn't filled,so Ed made sure everything was packed securely. Travis and Matt couldn't have been more helpful and hard working! So, naturally when it came time to do a full move we went to get boxes there rather than go to the hateful U-Haul store. While getting our boxes they asked if we would like moving help. We were just moving two blocks away, and my partner and I already rented a truck and had made arrangements to do it ourselves so initially we though "no" but there was some heavy furniture that we really did not want to walk-down out of a walk-up. But we thought because of our moving day we though we were out of luck since we, like hundreds of others were moving at the end of July. To our surprise, It wasn't a problem at all since we were local in Andersonville. Ed and his team were able to come and bring down furniture and boxes, haul out old furniture to the trash, and then expertly pack our truck making our move faster and more efficient. I've heard many horror stories about movers who are unprofessional, careless with furniture, or even just mean. This couldn't have been further from our experience. Our experience was excellent, they were on time (despite a busy schedule), and we are recommending them to all of our friends -- especially because they are a local Andersonville business that supports the community and provides great service.

We had another GREAT experience with Windy City Movers.... due to unfortunate circumstances we had to move twice in the last 3 months. Windy City Movers once again came to the rescue. Ed, Steve and the crew did a great job moving us to our new single family home - on one of the hottest days of the summer!! The team organized the move so that we could start unpacking early in the day which allowed us to be pretty much settled in by the end of the move. I used Windy City Movers this past Saturday from a move in Chicago to Wauconda. Ed and Bill was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Problem is I underestimated the amount of boxes I had. So a move with a 2 man crew estimated to be 3-4 hours actually took 5 & 1/2 hours. Now that I know this I will use a 3 man crew when I move back to the city in the fall. Overall, I was happy with their service and will use them again in the future.

Carlos, Justin and Felix were phenomenal!! So efficient, professional and handsome and worth their weight in gold. They packed up my friend's home and relocated her with speed and a attention to every detail. Highly recommend them!!!

During our move they charged us an extra $150 to move a heavy bookshelf, broke the bookshelf during the process we paid a huge amount for and refused to cover. It. There are a lot of movers in Chicago. I would suggest you go with someone else.

Horrible crooks NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They showed up 5 hours late with damaged materials. They didn’t reassemble several items and way over billed us by extending the hours on delivery. They’re own workers told us we’d be entitled to a claim to cover the damages but the company continued to ignore calls and emails. They had a woman named Judy Urquiza say we would be getting reimbursed but then disappeared. Highly fraudulent.

So, naturally when it came time to do a full move we went to get boxes there rather than go to the hateful U-Haul store. While getting our boxes they asked if we would like moving help. We were just moving two blocks away, and my partner and I already rented a truck and had made arrangements to do it ourselves so initially we though "no" but there was some heavy furniture that we really did not want to walk-down out of a walk-up. But we thought because of our moving day we though we were out of luck since we, like hundreds of others were moving at the end of July. To our surprise, It wasn't a problem at all since we were local in Andersonville. Ed and his team were able to come and bring down furniture and boxes, haul out old furniture to the trash, and then expertly pack our truck making our move faster and more efficient. I've heard many horror stories about movers who are unprofessional, careless with furniture, or even just mean. This couldn't have been further from our experience. Our experience was excellent, they were on time (despite a busy schedule), and we are recommending them to all of our friends -- especially because they are a local Andersonville business that supports the community and provides great service.

Used twice in Chicago and their team was super effective and efficient. They handled our stuff well and expertly packed the truck so that the movement/unloading went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Our move went very smooth. Carlos, Endo and Felix worked as a team to load and unload all of our furniture and boxes. The entire crew was courteous, helpful and professional.

Mike, Carlos and Enrique were incredible! Moved me from the city to my house in the suburbs super quickly and efficiently. They were super friendly and made the day really easy. Disassembled and reassembled furniture with ease and no damage. 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone moving.

I have only good things to say about Ed, Matt, and Mitch. This was our second time using their services. Both times they had to go to the POD storage area out by O'Hara airport. The crew was on time, courteous and worked well as a team. We were done on time and with no problems. In fact, this last time, we had furniture being delivered while Windy City was still moving us in. The furniture guys refused to bring in the big sofa we ordered. Windy City jumped right in to help and had a plan to get the sofa in. They got it done with no problems though a lot of physical energy on their part. Thank you, you saved the day

We had another GREAT experience with Windy City Movers.... due to unfortunate circumstances we had to move twice in the last 3 months. Windy City Movers once again came to the rescue. Ed, Steve and the crew did a great job moving us to our new single family home - on one of the hottest days of the summer!! The team organized the move so that we could start unpacking early in the day which allowed us to be pretty much settled in by the end of the move. The team is friendly, professional and very easy to work with. We will recommend Windy City Movers to all our family and friends!

I can't sing enough praises about Windy City Movers! Dave, Ed, & Bill showed up on time and got straight to work. They were incredibly friendly and very careful with my belongings. The quote I received from Sherry a few weeks before was right on- $600 to move me from a 1 bedroom in the loop to a 2 bedroom in Andersonville. Worth EVERY penny! I have already recommended them to a few friends with upcoming moves and will definitely continue to use them in the future.

I used Windy City Movers this past Saturday from a move in Chicago to Wauconda. Ed and Bill was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Problem is I underestimated the amount of boxes I had. So a move with a 2 man crew estimated to be 3-4 hours actually took 5 & 1/2 hours. Now that I know this I will use a 3 man crew when I move back to the city in the fall. Overall, I was happy with their service and will use them again in the future.

Carlos, Justin and Felix were phenomenal!! So efficient, professional and handsome and worth their weight in gold. They packed up my friend's home and relocated her with speed and a attention to every detail. Highly recommend them!!!

During our move they charged us an extra $150 to move a heavy bookshelf, broke the bookshelf during the process we paid a huge amount for and refused to cover. It. There are a lot of movers in Chicago. I would suggest you go with someone else.

I highly recommend Windy City Movers, they did a great job moving my mom today! They worked really hard moving various heavy items from the 3rd floor(without an elevator)to the new place quickly & efficiently. Thanks Carl, John & Dave.

Horrible crooks NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They showed up 5 hours late with damaged materials. They didn’t reassemble several items and way over billed us by extending the hours on delivery. They’re own workers told us we’d be entitled to a claim to cover the damages but the company continued to ignore calls and emails. They had a woman named Judy Urquiza say we would be getting reimbursed but then disappeared. Highly fraudulent.
